It is named after the 17th century developer, Thomas Neale. It now contains several health food cafes and new age retailers that are all painted in a variety of colors.

Sliding Rock swimming hole in NC..Sliding Rock, North Carolina This is a fantastic rock waterfall that is so smooth you can use it as a water slide. However, be warned, the water is very chilly. Though that’s probably a welcome respite from the scorching summer sun. Recently, these North Carolina summers have been crazy hot. Thanks a lot, global warming!
