Keep the litter box area clean by buying rubber garage tiles at a home improvement store and placing them under the litter box. The litter gets trapped in the holes and not tracked all over the house! Works better than the litter-trapping mats that are sold in pet stores!
I did not know this! Outdoor use. flies HATE pine-sol. Mix it with water, about 50/50 and put it in a spray bottle. Use to wipe counters or spray on the porch and patio table and furniture Drive them away!
One of my FAVORITE just revealed today on Dr. Oz California Poppy liquid dropper - take 3/4 tsp 1 time a day before bed. This is a remedy replacement for pain. Those who rely on Advil, Vicodin, Percocet or other strong pain killers for constant pain that can become addicting - try the California Poppy liquid drops instead. This is NOT addicting but works just as strong as such pain pills. Also note that it will assist in sleeping so take before bed.
DIY nonstick cooking spray. Healthy and get rid of all the chemicals that are in pam! Have to make this since I just discovered there is propane in Pam!!!!!
When you paint a room, put some extra paint in a baby jar* and keep it handy for quick touch-ups. pinner said *I did this Aug. 2011 - don't use a baby food jar - use a peanut butter jar that has a PLASTIC lid or it will rust - that was a tip from my painter - it's all stored in a cabinet in the house - just take it out and shake well and use a q-tip for quick touch ups. This has got to be one of the best things I've ever pinned!!!!
Seriously?! -- Vinegar works as a wood stain when you add a metal object in the mix and let it sit in a glass container for a week. A handful of pennies will produce a beautiful pale Caribbean blue stain. A wad of steel wool will give you a rich reddish hue. A combination of tea and a metal object in vinegar will produce a black stain. Log this away for later.
