@Jessica Thompson It's one of our Victorian Labels, in the Royale set. We placed the label where we liked it and then used the Draw effect to color over some of the details of the label.

  • Jamie Patterson

how do you start from a blank white page? To make a poster, sign or invite?

  • PicMonkey

Hi @Jamie Patterson. We're working on making it easier to start from a blank page but in the meantime, open a photo in the Editor. Then add a rectangle from the Geometric overlays and stretch over your image. Choose your color and then click the Merge icon in the top toolbar. Go to the Resize tool in Basic Edits to change the dimensions of your page and you're ready to go!

Have fun with your family photos for Easter. We love Daguerreotype's Shiro effect for a rich, soft sepia look. It makes those Labels, Cutimals and Chick 'n Eggs pop!

Hatch up an Easter egg card with our adorable Chick 'n Egg overlays. Apply an Ombre effect to your Easter cuties and a Ribbon overlay to match.

  • Mykah Rose

How do you make the ribbon vertical?

  • PicMonkey

Hi @Mykah Rose! When you've added your ribbon onto your image (from the Ribbons set in PicMonkey's Overlays tab) click on the ribbon. If you hover over the top circle of the selection box you'll see your cursor change to a rotate icon. Click on that circle and drag to rotate left or right. We then dragged the corner of the ribbon to stretch to the edges of the image.

    Thanks soo much!!

PicMonkey: It is when I am viewing it on facebook. Not always, just sometimes and it looks kind of "grade school." I create about 6 graphics a day for my page and most are fine but occasionally I see this funky halo around the words almost like they are cut out an pasted. Never on PicMonkey though. Simone, I will take a look at your link too. Thank you.

  • Becky Capps

Simone THAT is exactly what I see sometimes. So it appears I should save as png.? Check it out Pic Monkey. By the way, I LOVE your site.

  • PicMonkey

@Becky Capps Ahhh yes, Facebook compresses the images which reduces the image quality. This is most noticeable we've found with text on flat color. While using png files can generally work well in that situation, we've found that doesn't make a significant difference if posting images on FB.
