Brilliant: Add vintage Shutters to a bookcase. We did this to make a food pantry at one time. I must say I LOVE this tip. Because it hides the clutter, and can be use in any room in the house. Plus, it was very cheap to make that we now have 3 of them (guest bedroom, screen in porch and under the car port). You do have to add a latch to keep the door closed.

The tree is cheap, brown tissue paper glued to the wall using Elmer's school glue. The shelves are melamine from Ikea. I sprayed them brown using Krylon plastic paint. The leaves are cut from a Junie B. Jones book. The cocoon is from Ikea as well. :) She really enjoys this little hideaway. What an AWESOME idea!!
