The Blessing Jar. Whenever you recognize a “blessing” in your life throughout the year, just write it on a piece of paper, fold it up, and stick it in The Blessing Jar. On New Years Eve, dump out all the blessings from the entire year and go through it together as a family. Working on this right now for the 2012 year, but the Hessels are calling it the Blessing Branches. Every Christmas Day before any presents are opened, we'll revisit all the specific blessings we've hung on the tree throughout the year and praise God for His many gifts. *Use cardstock in colours to match my decor*
