1 (3-pound) pork shoulder
1 cup Slow cooker shredded pork

1/2 Carrot
32 Cilantro, fresh sprigs

16 Mint, fresh leaves

32 Thai basil, fresh leaves
2 Yellow onions

Condiments

1 tbsp Fish sauce
1/4 cup Lime juice, fresh
1 tbsp Mirin
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 (15-ounce) can Tomato sauce

Pasta & Grains

1 cup Rice vermicelli, cooked

Baking & Spices

3 tbsp Brown sugar, light
3 tbsp Chili powder
1 Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp Sugar

Oils & Vinegars

3 tbsp Rice vinegar
1 tbsp Sesame oil

Nuts & Seeds

1 tsp Cumin, ground

5-Star*****Carnitas..this smells unbelievable in the CROCKPOT. It is So delicious..read directions carefully-uses a 4-5lb. pork shoulder or butt, but once you shred it and remove most of the fat, it's enough for a meal with leftovers, even better the next day! My daughter asks for this...and brings friends!
