Just finished WILD. Biggest takeaway was the realization that each of us are ALREADY on a personal journey. Doesn't require a big decision or dramatic adventure... where ever you are in your, you are already on a personal journey, each nuanced decision determines the breadth and depth of what we'll learn. The more risk, the wider the we reach, the more we learn. Highly recommended read - but not to copy her path. Only to add to and recognize our own path. It truly helped to illuminate mine.

Naked by David Sedaris is a book I would actually carry on the trail. Forget about the weight, we read it on the Pacific Crest Trail over a period of two days. Lets just say our lunches would run over three hours because we would read the book out loud and be literally rolling on the ground in laughter. We couldn't put it down!
