Lamium White Nancy --- Lamiums make fine groundcovers under trees, either deciduous or limbed-up evergreens like cedars. But they can struggle in hot, humid climates. The only two I've found to grow well are White Nancy & Orchid Frost.

Clematis - such big flowers on such a scrawny vine. the saying goes, clematis like their heads in the sun and their feet in the shade. find a ground cover or very low herb to plant around their base. somehow it works

Bloodroot.. This herbaceous perennial makes its appearance in March, shooting up white flowers that last until late spring. It's a good fit for either a shaded or woodland garden.
