Protein shake that tastes like Wendy's Frosty! 3/4 cup (6 ounces) almond milk (or milk of your choice, I use unsweetened vanilla almond breeze by blue diamond) about 15 ice cubes, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1-2 TB unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener of choice (1/4 of a frozen banana or stevia).
When you have a sweet tooth and want to stay on track, here's a nice treat. Sugar is NOT an added ingredient. 3 mashed bananas (ripe), 1/3 cup apple sauce, 2 cups oats, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup raisins (optional), 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. (Dr Don Colbert)
1 cup sugar 3 cups raw almonds (or any other nut) 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon 1/4 cup water Directions: In a large skillet combine the sugar, cinnamon and water. Add the almonds and stir constantly with a spoon over medium heat, coating the almonds with the syrupy mixture. Keep stirring until the sugar crystallizes. Remove the pan from heat and scoop the almonds onto wax paper.
