Epistle to the Ephesians (Ephesians) is the 10th book in the New Testament supposedly written by the apostle Paul while he was in prison in Rome (around 62 AD) Main theme: "the Church, the Body of Christ." Addresses hostility, division, and self-interest the most. Ephesus was an important center for Early Christianity from the AD 50s. From AD 52–54, Paul lived in Ephesus.
