Mix a few drops of food coloring (Neon works best) in the sand and “Voila”… colored sand!  Kids LOVE it!   (The food coloring will stain hands for a bit, but easily washes out with plenty of ocean/pool play.  It will not stain clothes). HAVE FUN MAKING THINGS COLORFUL!!!!!

As many times as I've been to the beach! I never knew this!! Easily remove sand from your hands by "washing" them with baby powder! This works great for cleaning kids up after playing in the sand box as well!

Making a sand volcano is tons of fun for kids! You can easily set this activity up at the beach or right in the sand box; a must try for Summer!

Bubble Painting. Mix food coloring in with bubbles...blow on page...let them pop. Fun!

Volcano Beach Fun! Build up sand around a bottle to form the volcano. Pour water into the bottle. Squeeze red food coloring into the water. Measure out 2 tablespoons of baking soda and pouring it into the bottle. pour in white vinegar, and watch the lava explode!!
