Look closely: students folded white paper in half, wrote their names in cursive, and cut out around their names - this formed the body. They added the head, arms,and legs then mounted their "name skeletons" on black construction paper! This is awesome! Love it!

Cursive writing practice for kids. 1) Have the kids write their name on a piece of paper folded in half. 2) Cut around their name. 3) Open up the folded paper and decorate. Everyone's bug will be different shaped!!

Fold construction paper in half on the shortest line of symmetry. Then open it back up and fold the outside edges in to the fold in the center. Cut each flap so you have 2 sections on each side. Label the quadrants and the signs of the ordered pairs.

Kachina dolls- Construction paper folded in half then students added wavy edge cut on pencil while folded. Shapes where then added and the fold was used for line on symmetry. Students focused on geometric shapes, outlined with oil pastels, then painted with tempera paint.

Fold an 11"X17" green peice of construction paper, in half hot dog style twice. Next, unfold once, cut thin strips to the fold line. Very cute and easy to do!
