The Whitepaper highlights the issues around selecting Air Filters for HVAC systems and Air Handling Units. Comfort Air Filters are used in heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. It is important that the right HVAC filters are selected to deliver the required Indoor Air Quality. These filters clean the air and make it fit for building occupants to inhale without risk to health. The filters must use minimal energy.
Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems consume a large part of the energy used in Buildings. Building owners and operators who chose to participate will benefit from the opportunity to compare the Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning system energy performance of their building with other similar buildings in their own country and across Europe. Camfil 1 This comparison will enable benchmarking and identification of possible problem areas in the building and adoption of good practices in operation in other high performing buildings. Camfil is supporting this project by advocating AHU Energy Conservation Opportunities through use of Low Energy Air Filters.
