Each student comes up and picks a stick out of my hand; they have to place the word in the right cup. Then, after all sticks have been sorted, students can choose one stick from each cup and create a sentence using all three words. A great informal assessment!

Use mini craft sticks to create a fine motor skills game for toddlers!

The sticks have different number sentences to make the number.

Secret Walker: Place student names on popsicle sticks. Have the "line leader" choose a stick & show it to you. IF the chosen secret walker is quiet in the hall, they get a fuzzy or another type of reward. If they are not, they owe a fuzzy.

sight word game using crystal light packet holders and sticks!

a really fun idea for classroom management/transitions... the "action cup!" write different actions on popsicle sticks, such as "pretend your legs are spaghetti" and have one student pick an action for the class to do each time they transition!

love this idea, too bad she doesn't teach kindergarten! Give a student a stick that has a high freq. word and they must use it in their daily writing task.
