Cost effective way to cover an arched window: Cut cardboard or another opaque material to size and paint it white then cover with a Ready Arch paper shade. Blocks light, insulates and costs a fraction of custom shutters or blinds.

Great Idea for Blake's arched Window! Cut a semi-circle from a large piece of recycled cardboard to the size of the window, cover it in fabric (stripe to the interior and white to the exterior) and fit it into the window. Then make a typical roman blind for the square portion of the window.

Switch it up a bit with cleaner lines, better color and pattern...not a horrible way to cover the arched opening.
