Vinegar in Toilet Tank- If you poke a hole into the lid of a bottle of vinegar and then put the whole bottle into your toilet tank upside down, the vinegar will prevent a toilet ring from forming by releasing some everytime you flush and also use LESS WATER with every flush!
Make your own orange scented vinegar for cleaning: Fill a mason jar with 5-6 orange peels each (can use any citrus!) Add white vinegar to the top, seal jar and let it sit for ~2weeks. Strain vinegar into spray bottle, add water (ideal ratio: 1 part vinegar to 1 part water) Smells good, best ever clean for glass, kitchen & bath!
... VINEGAR USES... 7. Clean your house – I use diluted vinegar on floors, walls, windows, carpets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and faucets. My favorite cleaning trick is to sprinkle baking soda inside the toilet bowl and spray vinegar around the lid, bowl, and floor surrounding the toilet. I allow it to sit while I go about my chores (and make sure nobody uses the bathroom). When I return I scrub the inside of the toilet, wipe away any remaining vinegar, and flush! Cheap, easy, and effective.
