Overall, however, no one knows anything for ceartain. Anything can change at any moment, for no reason.
Are you saying that by studying the world scientifically we are not making progress? That, having moved from a flat earth to a roughly spherical one, we might have to go back to thinking it is flat at any moment? I do not find that at all persuasive, given the history of science.
Although we have made leaps and bounds toward finding the truth, we still do not know enough to base a belief that is that important on.
If you are referring to evolution, then yes we do. There are a great many unanswered questions, but there is a great deal that we know. Out of curiosity, what is the last book on the subject that you read? In my experience, most people who think there isn't much evidence do not read the sorts of books that would have changed their mind!
