so many possible jokes about growing up sleeping inside a closet... lol
Uh are they going to take the closet doors off?
People get arrested for making their kids sleep in the closet.
Yeah, no.....maybe if there are no doors
I agree, doors must go, otherwise cool idea
and where would you stored
their clothes, etc???
Would be a pain to make the beds!!
For a kid - nothing cooler! My daughter slept in a popup tent on her bed age 7-9.
doesn't have to be @ home can be at a vacation spot always looking for ways to expand the guest space play space... very cute idea
Where do you put their clothes?
Buy a dresser for their clothes
What a great idea!
This idea is great if you are building. Our kids' closets are way too small to fit beds in them.
It's a hassle to change the sheets, though.
Just not so sure about this idea - conceptually there is definitely something to work with but a few flaws. I can say turning the beds toward the room, removing the doors alows you to add a dresser or bookshelf next to the bed and alows more air flow for health, ease of getting in and out of the area. I am building a sm. home for a family of 4 - the smallest bedroom will have a completely planned closet so all toys will fit in nicely, the doors can be shut for a non-cluttered appearance and that leaves rm. for the bed, a chair, sm. round table, and play space, just a thought :)
This is a cute idea but I'm not sure that building inspectors would approve it. Perhaps a curtain instead of a door would make it less of a fire safety issue.
at least you can shut the door on them!! he he he
bunks in the closet, leave the rest of the room as a play area. So cool!!
