A personal story by Karen Armstrong

I hesitated to pin this because her relationship with organized religion may not sit well with everyone, but it is a phenomenal story and certainly thought-provoking. This is one of those books I would never have read if I had't heard her interview by Terri Gross a few years ago. I have her book The History of G-d (sorry - that's a Jewish thing you know not to write the whole word) but haven't read it yet. It's in that never-ending stack of to-be-read.

I need to listen to Terri Gross. You always refer back to her the most interesting books!
