Hula Hoop Game How to play Ask the kids to stand in a big circle, slip a hula hoop onto one child's arm, and have them all join hands. They then must find a way to move the hula hoop all the way around the circle without letting go of each other's hands.
HULA BLOCKERS:All you need is a couple of hula hoops and a bean bag. Set the hula hoops flat on the ground several feet apart (ours were about 8 feet or so). To play, each player stands in their own hula hoop and attempts to toss the bean bag into the other hoop. The defender tries to block the bean bag from landing inside the circle, by using their hands, feet, head, etc. to deflect it.
From Family Fun Magazine - March 2013: Musical Hula Hoops Game: "Each child stands in a hula hoop. When the music starts, the kids walk, hop, and dance around the hoops as one is removed. When the music stops, everyone finds a hoop, even if there's someone in it. Eventually, all the kids try to fit in the last hoop. It's fun for everyone!"
