I clean houses for a living and most woman in todays society dont even have the basic skills for cleaning. And they really dont care too. For me its a routine NO DEVIATION AT ALL. start wherever you want work from one end to the other. NO CELL PHONES NO COMPUTER and no junk drawers. they are time killers and make you more tired than the whole house cleaning would
babies make it hard to clean :)
How to keep a clean house? Don't let a male in the house!!!!!!!!
It's not hard to keep the house clean if everyone else helps out and puts things back where they belong.
Lol @ Pat. How true!!
get rid of my kids lol
Do a little at a time and I agree its teamwork that makes a house clean. Mostly just picking up your own stuff in my house works wonders
@pat huston That is most defiantly the answer. One husband and two little boys do not make for a clean house.
its not easy to keep the whole house clean all at ounce when you have kids!!
wow. I have three kids and a husband. No one helps me and my house is ALWAYS clean. It's called a schedule. It isn't hard. It is life. You just do it. I also like to clean and then take the kiddos out to the park, the library, play place or whatever. Keeps them happy and keeps my house in order. Laziness is why your house is dirty. It's an excuse.
Judgemental much, Stephanie? For those of us who work full time and have kids, it is not laziness that keeps a home from being spotless.
StephanieGonzales-Do you have any friends? We would not be your friend at all.You are by far the most rude bitch I have come across on Pinterest. You are a miserable, stressed out sorry human being. My wife does the best she can. We have a very active family and I work some long hours. It is more important to us to have quality time with our kids than have a spotless house. It is ok to have a house that looks lived in. Kids grow up too fast. Our house is clean but lived in. Houses are not supposed to be a museum!!! If you are doing all the work than you have failed as a parent. You are not teaching your kids life skills. They should know how to keep a house clean. I agree with Tammy, team work is the key. By the way- my wife has major health and physical issues whe battles everyday.
Stephanie, your house may be clean but it sounds like you have some resentment and personal issues. I'd rather have a somewhat clean house, spend quality time with my kiddos and friend, and live in my house ( not shuffle them out to keep it clean.) Our house is a hub of activity where kids want to hang out and I always know who their friends are and what is going on. Maybe one day you will feel comfortable enough to accept different family styles and priorities.Until then, good luck.
I was kind of shocked that someone would call someone lazy. I'm kept alive by an IV because I haven't been able to eat anything solid in about 2 years. A month after I got married. I have no children, but my house isn't spotless all the time. I get dizzy and exhausted and even pass out at times. My house isn't always in perfect order, but I'm happy because I do the best I can. I can't imagine how you would feel Steph if you suddenly became deathly ill and couldn't keep up with your expectations. Don't judge too easily my dear. It will bite you in the butt. It's not nice either, and that's the most important. We should just be nice to each other.
Stephanie, WHOA. Get off your high horse and over yourself. And remember to BREATHE.
I don't want to play devils advocate, but in some ways Stephanie is right. I just spent the weekend cleaning my brother and sister-in-laws home. It was nasty. I mean mouse poop call DHR nasty. She works and my brother is a full time student on the GI bill. They have one daughter. That laziness. However I believer that a lived in home is a beautiful one. Munchkin shoes in the floor and toys in the bath tub. There is no excuse for complete filth though.
Okay, get off steph's case. I have a friend, married, 4kids and stay at home mom. House is spotless, kids play outside a lot which they are supposed to do instead of the computer. She spends a lot of time with her children and the ones in school make good grades. She lives on a schedule such as house cleaning on certain days, grocery shopping on certain day, etc. plus, the kids are assigned chores to do and everything is picked up at bedtime. It is not an issue of laziness but organization. By the way, another friend works full time with 2kids and here's is spotless too, kind of the same schedule.
Lazy my a$$. My house isn't spotless, not even near spotless. I have fingerprints on the wall, toys on the floor, cups in the sink...I also have 4 happy boys. Chasing after a 3 year old and meeting the schedules of the others is HARDLY lazy, but when I do have some free time I'll be damned if I'm going to spend every second of it cleaning. If you want to act like the martyr, be my guest. It's not quite my thing.
Stephanie,,,, I totally agree with you, I don't understand why they got mad of you!! Maybe because you have said the truth ,, go Stephanie goooo, you are the best:)))
a spotless house may be a sign of severe boredom :)
Keeping a spotlessly clean house isn't as difficult as it looks. How to do it has been the best kept secret of Susie Homemaker for years. How...
