*For extra glitz -sprinkle a little glitter or mylar confetti before you iron. Pretty Valentines- cut out the center of different sized paper hearts and glue waxed paper to the back; hang in the window; glue these hearts onto different colored paper to make pretty cards. Valentine mobile- cut a 2' or more length of thread and make a small loop for the top ; cut various sizes and colors of paper hearts in pairs; cut out heart centers of several pairs; glue waxed paper to cover opening on one side of each pair; arrange half of the heart pairs in a vertical line 2" +- apart; lay thread down the center over these hearts with loop at the top; starting at the bottom- glue each matching heart half leaving space between pairs; let dry before hanging. For garland -lay pairs horizontally and glue thread near top of heart to hang correctly. Get fancy - add doily edges, more glitter, lace & trim! Make snowflakes with silver, white, blue crayons and glitter in the waxed paper ! Make Easter eggs, shamrocks, stars, suns, moons, stained glass designs, animals, insects, fish, Christmas trees - just by ironing different color combinations together. *Save the scraps for small areas *Get creative ! These ideas are school tested and teacher approved!!
