Reading Resolutions: After winter break I talk with my kids about New Years resolutions. Each students picks one area that they feel they need to work on (based on DEA scores and their own ideas.) They write it down as their reading resolution. Every few weeks, I conference with them to see if they are making progress or have met the goal. If they meet it, they can make a new one!
