    This "quality work" picture had me upset for most of the day that this was still being thought of as okay with children. Talk about not being current and not honouring individual appropriateness. I teach education at the College level and I will be using this in my class to ask my students what is wrong with showing this to children. I have decided if they say nothing-they will immediately be put on my list of students I need to meet with to explore their thinking or lack therein about their work with children.

    Agreed. My son used to get 'spoken to' about his inappropriate use of color. I'd just remind him that all the greats 'colored outside of the lines' in their day. He must be one of them!
