I'm going to get on with words like faith, strength, hope, love, patience on teal making a ribbon with a teal heart in the middle. I might incorporate wings as well.

I don't know the person who has this tattoo but sparrow represent good luck and the needle is representative of infertility treatments.

I have PCOS and have had two children- without clomid or other drugs. It is possible. However it was only after losing about 40 lbs each time that I was able to get pregnant. My prayers are with you all that are having trouble getting pregnant!

5 to 10% of the female population suffer from a condition that is not talked out. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common female endocrine disorder. It can be diagnosed in all phases of life from little girls aged 8 to ladies post menopause. Chances are you know someone who has PCOS, who is afraid to talk about their condition for fear of your pity.

Crazy is a pretty strong word, and so is ignorance and to me someone who calls people crazy that are suffering with a condition that's a burden and cause infertility I believe those people are ignorant. I'm must be crazy for finding strength inmy fellow cysters and if that's crazy I don't want to be sane.

This is beautiful. I too have PCOS, been TTC for 8 1/2 years also issue is male factor infertility, our only option is IVF. And we are planning on adopting regardless of how many biological children you have. Most women diagnosed find out when they are having trouble getting pregnant. But there are so many other symptoms of PCOS that when untreated can make life miserable, and causes painful cysts, many women with this are pre-diabetic or diabetic, and have an increase risk of heart attack. Despite being on a very rigid diet I was not able to loose weight (my insulin was ridiculous, so far no diabetes yet) or regulate my cycle. Started metformin and lost 25lbs in a little over a month, and my cycle became lighter and regular. @Spritz Unleaded, yes there are different degrees of how it affects a woman. Some are able to get pregnant still relatively easily, others are never able to conceive. And at different times it can affect the same woman differently.

@Evita Garcia, is there anything you are doing to help it? @Katherine, I also have cysts, acne problems & skin darkness in certain areas.. I hate it! & also extra weight. I am currently trying to get healthier to see if it'll minimize some of the other symptoms. Thnx for responding :)

I've been dealing with pcos for years. When I found out I had cysts in my uterus I just cried. I'm still on Metformin, have excess weight but fortunately the hair problem calmed down. Every doctor/clinic I go to thinks I have Diabetes because of the Metformin. I'm old enough now that I don't think of babies anymore, just the side effects of the condition!

I think the birds might be swallows; they were a symbol for lost children in Victorian times. Beautiful tattoo.

I am having problems with my weight, acne, and fertility problems and I am on metformin. Losing weight is obviously harder w pcos but I am doing the low amylose diet that is for women w pcos and it's really working. Just an idea!

Yeah I've have it too minus the cysts, and something that really helped me to lose weight and balance my hormones is HCG. It sucks girls, but at least we're not alone.

Ladies!! I am so sorry for all of you struggling with infertility! I work at an Institute with a Doctor who has been working with women with infertility issues for almost 30 years...@Jennifer Moore his methods are 2 or 3 times more successful than IVF, and he can fix PCOS! He does surgeries every day on women that have endometriosis and PCOS....most of them can conceive afterwards, but ALL of them walk away healthier! Unfortunately, Doctors usually prescribe birthcontrol for these issues which don't cure the PCOS, just masks the real issues as to WHY you have it! Its like taking asprin for a headache instead of finding out what might be causing the headaches and going to the root of the issue! He is an amazing Doctor...our website is, you can also read about it here, http://www.naprotechnology.... this is not spam or a least check out the website, and feel free to give us a call!

I have PCOS too and I've been pregnant 6 times.....only 2 children, 1 m/c, 3 ectopics...I had over 12 yrs infertility, ovarian drilling surgery and Atkins diet and 3 pregnancies within 18 months...unfortunately we lost all 3 (ectopic) from another matter unrelated to PCOS. Keep your sugars tightly reigned in and your weights down PLEASE!
