June 27-3 words...SHUT OUT SWEEP!! Timmy was awesome, Buster played 1st, Timmy managed to keep the shutout by making the out at home, and the GIANTS were fabulous. Great game! Final score: GIANTS 3, Dodgers 0.

Sept 7-the GIANTS open the series against the Dodgers at home. The bad news? Timmy got a "no decision". The good news? The GIANTS got the win. Started off a little scary with the Dodgers posting the 1st run on the board, then the GIANTS tied it up, the Dodgers scored again, and the GIANTS tied it up again. The GIANTS took the lead in the 7th, tacked on another run in the 8th and held on. Final score: GIANTS 5, Dodgers 2.

May 9-the GIANTS started this outing looking like fierce competitors. Timmy was pitching his best stuff and not only got a hit, but it was an RBI. GIANTS scored twice while holding the Dodgers to 0 runs until the 4th. Timmy struck out Matt Kemp 3 times. Amazing! But the Dodgers came on strong and scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th. The Dodgers went on to score 2 more before the game ended, giving the Dodgers the win and the series. Final score Dodgers 6, GIANTS 2.

July 18-what a game! The GIANTS and the Braves were tied with one run each after 9 innings. The GIANTS scored 2 in the top of the 10th, but the Braves did the same in the bottom. Then the GIANTS took the lead with a 3 run HR by Crawford and a 3 run HR by Blanco in the 11th. The GIANTS got the win and preserved a 3 game lead over the Dodgers in the NL West. Final score: GIANTS 9, Atlanta 4.

Sept 22-with the Dodger loss today, the magic number to clinch the division was down to 1. The Padres scored a run in the the top of the 1st, but the GIANTS came right back in the bottom of the 1st and scored 2. Scutaro continued his hitting streak, Belt went yard and Bumgarner was great through 5 2/3. Pablo made a highlight reel play, flipping over the fence and coming up ith the ball, all while blowing a bubble. Final score: GIANTS 8, Padres 4. The GIANTS CLINCH THE NL WEST!!!

June 25-the GIANTS were at home tonight and the fans greeted them with the constant chant "Beat LA"! So they did. Zito pitched 7 shut out innings and the GIANTS scored 4 runs in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd and another in the 5th. Pablo had some great hits tonight, along with Blanco, Theriot, Melky, Pagan and Sanchez. The bullpen finished up the game without allowing a Dodger to score. Great game! Final score: GIANTS 8, Dodgers 0.

Aug 22-GIANTS SWEEP LA!! if last night was Angel Pagan night, tonight it was all about Joaquin Arias. His bat was on fire, he hit a beauty of a HR, and his defense was superb. Cain pitched a great game. All the GIANTS looked great tonight and Justin Christian made a catch that is sure to make the highlight reels. Final score: GIANTS 8, Dodgers 4.

June 26-our 2nd game in the series against 'dem Bums from LA. And what a great game! The Melk Men were out in force, doing the Melk Shake when their hero went yard, Vogey's pitching was phenomenal and the GIANTS bats just kept on coming. 2 shutouts in a row! Final score: GIANTS 2, Dodgers 0.

July 27-1st game in the series against the Dodgers. The GIANTS put the 1st run up on the board, but the Dodgers scored in the 5th and 6th giving the Dodgers a 2 run lead. Brandon Belt, who has been struggling lately, got 3 hits, including a 2 RBI base hit in the 8th to tie the score. The Dodgers pulled away in the 10th with a 2 run HR courtesy of their new acquisition, Hanley Ramirez. Final score: Dodgers 5, GIANTS 3.

May 8-it was a good night to be a GIANT, as the boys in orange and black ended Clayton Kershaw's home game winning streak. It was a win the GIANTS sorely needed. We didn't know it, but the game was over after the 2nd inning. Top of the 2nd, Buster led off for the GIANTS and got a base hit. Brett Pill came up and hit a 2 run homer. In the bottom of the 2nd, LA scored 1 run and that was it for both teams. GIANTS beat their ancient rivals, the Dodgers, with the Dodgers ace on the mound, 2-1.

GIANTS beat the A's, 7-2 in today's 1st of 2 with split squads. Our defense was on fire, allowing the A's to score only twice on 9 hits. Tonight our other squad takes on the Dodgers. Check it out on the MLB Network or MLB.TV. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
