A Humument is a sustained manipulation and restructuring of W.H. Mallock’s forgotten Victorian novel A Human Document. Working directly on original pages, Tom Phillips eliminates sections of text to reveal residual and previously hidden syntagms.
Not zentangle exactly, but this idea might appeal to those who love to tangle and doodle. It's done on a book page, bordering a section of text, and the highlighted words inside the main area make up a bit of verse. A creative idea.
From the blog, "No Matter Where I go...I ALWAYS Meet Myself There!" Found poetry. Zentangling/doodling on pages from Shakespeare's Complete Works. Several examples shown in post. Great idea for found poetry and art journaling.
