I do this with my empty Diptyque candles too!
Just take the cup and do anything with lol
Honest question: really not tying to be rude, but why do these candles cost $60? Are they really strong or last forever? Always loved the label
i own one and i don't find it that special, but the packaging is nice. branding at its best, i guess - it has become more of a status symbol
I figured :) thanks for the reply!
How do you get a candle glass completely clean of all of the wax?
If you freeze the candle after you're finished with it, the wax will pull away from the glass. You should be able to pop it out with a knife after a few hours! I do it all the time and it's incredible how great it works.
You can also remove the wax by pouring boiling water into the glass, and as it cools, the wax rises to the top and solidifies like a puck. Once the water's cool enough, pop the puck out and the wax is gone.
