My issue is that pulling the funds is not only hypocritical, but it is a huge resource lost. And I'm sorry, but I don't see how that is not obvious.
Well the same could be said about a majority of big names that raise money for a cause. It just happens that they're one of the largest among breast cancer awareness so they're in the spotlight....not trying to argue, you're entitled to your opinion, but like I said before, if a handful of people knew where their donated money went to and what things those "advocates" did with the public's money, people would close their wallets.
Did you know SGK sues smaller organizations that try to raise money for cancer because they have use the word "cure" in their foundation name. SGK claims the word "cure" belongs to them only as well as the color pink. So think about the money, that YOU donated, that is wasted on legal fees to throw a lawsuit at smaller foundations! Makes me sick. Don't ever start a race for the cure, bike for the cure, walk for the cure, kites for the cure...etc. Or SGK will come at you!
When you donate money to a foundation intended to support research and screenings and then they give the money you donate to someone else who doesn't even provide the care you were donating for they deserve to have funding cut off. The SGC Foundation cannot be trusted. I will devote my earned money to a foundation who keeps the money I give for the advertized and intended purpose.
Makes plenty of sense.
I think people would say "it'll make more people gay", which could truly be a problem...since they are already getting denied simple things like getting married & such...I think we need "gay counseling" bc if most men & women who are married would be honest, they don't want to be married either, and in their own weird way, are trying to shield gay people from unnecessary stress and unhappiness, since they're so mistreated already.....
This is every day!
