Fly Away Home, by Natalia Torrealba - I took this picture in a warm evening of July. My mind and heart was filled of deep emotions because my Mom passed away a couple months ago. At that moment of loneliness, I remember that the only thing that made me feel close to her it was to take pictures in her favorite place, her garden, where birds and flowers enchanted the day.
Central Park Tunnel, by Christopher Utano - Photo was taken in Central Park NYC. I noticed the strong lines in the bricks overhead and seen potential for a good black and white composition. I switched to my 10-20mm lens to get as much of the lines in the shot as possible. I waited for someone to approach the tunnel from the other side to give the photo added depth and lead the eyes to a subject.
Staying Balanced, by Joe Azure - I took a walk down by the shores of Lake Tahoe, but went down the wrong trail with no time to go back and try again. On the way down the hill I saw this log sitting on a rock and decided to photograph it. This location is located on the NE shore of the lake, so in the summer it is best suited for sunset shots.
