personalized coffee cups using a sharpie. HOWEVER. I read that this project is VERY tempermental. It was recommended to bake them at 450 degrees instead of 350. I also read that certain mugs won't take. Another alternative is to get ceramic markers instead. I still want to try it, just to see if I can get it to work.

Sharpie marker on coffee cup...after baking 30 min. @ 350 and AFTER dishwasher :( It survived hand-washing...but not the dishwasher.
Make a Sharpie Mug; bake for 30 minutes at 350F. Since it is on the outside of the cup it doesn't have to be food safe.
Sharpie doodled coffee mug- Use a permanent Sharpie and doodle whatever you'd like onto a ceramic cup, then bake the cup in the oven on 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Voila! You now have a beautiful gift!
