From a pinner: My version of learning about building block rhythms at Level I this summer....instead of a word wall on my big bulletin board, I did a rhythm wall and when we compose, write lyrics, improvise, etc....kids take the words we use and make cards with the word, the rhythm it matches, and of course some fun color. They love it and our goal is to paper the whole wall by the end of the year!
