Gold pendant, the oval frame bordered with strapwork, flowers, fruit and leaves, enamelled green, blue and white with traces of red, surrounding a sardonyx cameo portrait of a woman, probably a Ptolemaic princess as Demeter/Ceres, veiled and wreathed with poppies, facing in profile towards the right. Suspension loop, and drop shaped sapphire hanging below. Cameo: 2nd/1st century B.C., Sapphire: 11th century, Mount:16th century.

The oval gold locket is mounted on the lid with a sapphire cameo portrait of Queen Elizabeth I (1533-1603) and with an onyx cameo bust of Cleopatra with the asp on the back. Inside there is an enameled miniature of Charles I (1600-1648) Locket: early 17th century, cameo: second half of the 16th century.
