Try using real spices instead of processed soup mix...bet it will taste just as good.

Unfortunately, I was told by my Dr. to stop the cleanse. I went in to her for stomach issues I was having already. IBS. Yay. Good luck all!
One good thing that has come of this is that I'm using fresh fruit and vegetables, and am slowly weaning myself off of processed food.!
I don't understand why you finish a "cleanse" with a soup with a processed soup base?! After all the salt and chemical additives, aren't you asking to be bloated?! Poor diet plan nutritionally~

Ariana, I think the idea is a practice in discipline for your own mind and to show what a difference it can make. That said, I think you're right if you go back to processed foods and larger portions. The only reason I would suggest anything like this is to see if your body feels better without the processed foods, and I agree that using regular spices, or a clarified free-range chicken stock would be a better option. It shouldn't be about slashing calories. You need those. I would go with a modified version of this and get a little exercise.

I did this, i only lost like 3 pounds. SO not with it.
I'm on day 4. I've lost 4.2 pounds so far. And I've cheated twice! It's hard work but worth it when you see the results on the scale! lol
I did this about a year ago and lost around 7 lbs during it. (I also only did 6 days, not 7 because we went out to a restaurant on the 7th day). It was difficult, but I felt really good at the end of it. Eating all the fruit makes you pee out toxins. Also, you need to be drinking lots and lots of water the whole time. I definitely did not gain all the weight back - it just helped jumpstart me into eating healthier and getting on the right track. I've lost 20 lbs since then.
