The Guana Bana, also known as Soursop, is the largest member of the custard apple family. It's white fleshy pulp is very juicy and has a lovely sweet tangy and slightly acidic taste. Best eaten fresh however it does make a refreshing drink, and the fermented fruit can also be used to make a cider- like drink.
The Araca has a very obvious acidic fruity nose with strong notes of apricot. The apricot is also there in taste, however with a tartness similar to lime. This is a fruit that attacks every nerve in the palette, with a large degree of puckeriness. It has excellent balance and taste, with a long finish of apricot yoghurt.
Moonmelon (scientifically knows as asidus). This fruit grows in some parts of Japan and is known for its vibrant blue colour. This fruit's party trick is that it can switch flavours after you eat it. Everything sour will taste sweet, everything salty will taste bitter, and it gives water a strong orange-like taste!
