    If you're a woodworker, you can miter and then use a router like a frame and the base use some masonite and then glue your favorite corks in and use as a trivet.

Wine corks as refrigerator magnets. I just cut up my old random magnets & cut a cork so part of it was flat. I hot glued the magnet to the cork.
