Pixar Zeotrope: 3D Animated Sculpture. Instead of using traditional, one-dimensional drawings, the Toy Story Zoetrope features three-dimensional sculptures of characters. As large disks whirl under a flashing strobe light, the Toy Story characters appear to come to life right before your eyes.

This would be great for kids who finish early - then could assemble as each finishes and display in classroom. Maybe even upload short video on YouTube sculpture of it in motion and share link with kids who had work involved.
