I thought this was such a fun idea that engages students in learning about the roles masks played in Aboriginal life. It not only requires the students to learn about different Aboriginal ceremonies, rituals, dances and honoring ancient spirits, it requires them to apply the information that they had learned by making a mask that expresses what they learned.
