Best present ever? Dad works for 13 years on graduation gift

Talk about planning ahead! Bryan Martins’ daughter Jenna graduated from high school earlier this month, an event he has been anticipating for the past 13 years. There was no bouquet of flowers or iTunes gift card to mark the occasion.

For my future children - have every teacher since kindergarten, write something about him/her until his/her senior year of high school. Dr. Suess' "Oh the Places You'll go" is the perfect book for this!

Dad kept this graduation gift a secret for 13 years. He got every teacher, coach, principal, etc., since kindergarten to write a memory of/for his daughter in Dr. Seuss' "Oh, The Places You'll Go". He gave it to her on her high school graduation. Such a wonderful, sweet idea! How cool is this??? So excited to have discovered this while my oldest is still in Kindergarten! :)

Teacher Appreciation Ideas - Great ideas as we head toward the end of the school year.

1. Bought a cheap 8 X 10 frame. 2. Used word to type the teacher's name at the bottom. 3. Typed a big "C" using font size one million. (or maybe around 400ish) 4. Printed it out. 5. Bought 2 boxes of crayons and cut the tips off. 6. Put hot glue on the letter and stuck the crayon tips on. 7. Put it in the frame (had to trim off some extra paper) and put the glass behind the paper.

"Keep a secret stash of these inappropriate pictures waiting for their 18th birthday." DONE. I'm going to be an awesome parent.

Love the monogram with the bow!
