defintiely worth it! The applesauce does make it mmore moist! I use applesauce and will now try honey for all my kids treats and desserts! so worth it! :)

If you guys wanna go really crazy, try 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk = 1 egg! Makes it super fluffy...I use it for cupcakes and pancakes!
I've used applesauce in my banana bread for years. It adds great moisture and taste. Good Stuff!!

That's A LOT of honey. It may be natural sugar... but sugar is still sugar. I'd try to cut it down a bit. Maybe use more applesauce.

Instead of using sugar, try sweet potato purée.
agave is really bad for you. that's what i've heard, anyways...

Adding 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar to banana bread gives a really bright delicious banana flavor, too!

Made it and it wsa sooo moist and yummy, I thought it was still to wet but it was getting to wet and I took it out and after standing for 15 minutes it was perfect!

Made this and it is very good, however, even though I used 3 very large and very ripe bananas, all I could taste was the honey. I like that the honey is a natural sugar, but would reducing the amount mess up the recipe? When I eat banana bread I expect to taste banana. Any suggestions?
