The Vagina Monologues is made up of a varying number of monologues read by a varying number of women. Every monologue somehow relates to the vagina, be it through sex, love, rape, menstruation, female genital mutilation, masturbation, birth, orgasm, the variety of names for the vagina, or simply as a physical aspect of the body. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality.

A classic trashy read! Love it!

Read this to the kids all the time!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I just finished reading this book and while catching my breath after crying through the last 50 pages of this book I cannot adequately describe it. So I will just quote 2 reviewers on "Very rarely a book comes out that steals my breath away. The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak is a revelation. Narrated by Death, this story follows Leisel as she steals books in Nazi Germany while she and her best friend Rudy discover the power of words, language and friendship. Zusak's writing is mesmerizing; it's sarcastic, emotional, sophisticated and wondrous. " and "If you love to read and if you love to care about the characters you read about and if you love to eat words like they're ice cream and if you love to have your heart broken and mended on the same page, this book is for you. "

Love this book! My Mom used to read it to me when I was a little girl! Still have the same book packed in my special things!

I think I would read most of these books. List includes The Hunger Games, The Help, The Kite Runner, and Bossypants.
