Vintage Leg Braces Polio Medical Device. This is a pair of leg braces made from leather and aluminum probably from the 1930s. They are in great condition for their age, the leather is not rotten and the metal is unscathed. They stand 28" tall and are 7" at the widest point. The shoes measure 9" from tip to heel.

Then again was not allowed to teach since she has a disability. She became a teacher and legislative assistant to the chairperson of the senate committee on Labor and Public Welfare in 1974.

"Maybe I`m getting to the age when I`m starting to be senile or nostalgic or both, but people are so angry now. You used to be able to disagree with people and still be friends. Now you hear these talk shows, and everyone who believes differently from you is a moron and an idiot - both on the Right and the Left." — Clint Eastwood
