Frailejones in northern Ecuador. by Smithsonian Institution

  • Daryl Bloss

This was such an unusual summer here in Indiana, lots of rain to keep the grass green and hardly any really hot weather. I worried that the succulents I planted might not like this kind of weather but my worries were misplaced. No matter how much rain we got they still looked amazing. Even after several low 30 degree nights, they're still going strong. Probably will never plant anything else if these are the results I get.
