Interesting thought. Isn't it?

At a Texas High School, Saying ‘Atheist’ Could Disrupt the Learning Process While we’re on the subject of the challenges high school atheists are up against, the Secular Student Alliance group at La Porte High School in Texas wanted to put up flyers advertising their group. To make that happen, the school administration had to approve the design (a standard procedure at high schools). When they submitted a design for approval, this is the message they got back from the principal:

  • Brittany Spraggins

I'm a member of the college sector of Secular Student Alliance and sadly…this happens all the time in Texas.

  • Zen Cows

This is totally ludicrous. Do they have the same restrictions on Christian and prayer groups' speech? I doubt it.

Chris Rock. Might as well vote for cancer.

  • Censor Ship

There are cures for cancer. And Obama is definitely cancer.
