Why dolphins can recognise themselves in a mirror (and do tricks for fish)…
You don’t have to be a primate to be smart (Darwin's outdated theory). Dolphin brains look nothing like human brains. Yet when it comes to intelligence, dolphins come as close to humans as apes and monkeys. Maybe closer. Dolphins understand abstract concepts, like zero; recognize themselves in the mirror; have a sense of social identity; They interact and comprehend the health and feelings of others. And they do everything that monkeys and apes can do.
Dolphins are highly intelligent marine mammals and are part of the family of toothed whales that includes orcas and pilot whales.
