I know it sounds funny, but like the cuss jar for adults... I used marbles. They each had a cup on their desk. For every rude comment I hear we put a marble in the jar. For each marble we multiplied by 2, and that was how many minutes of Fun Friday they missed! So smart for amy grade level!

Geography Unit and Lapbook about Japan from Our Cup of Tea

Assessment for Learning. Spread cups on table and have students race to correctly order, smallest to biggest. Great visual way to show levels of organization. students could make their own sets and doodle diagrams on the cups.

TEACHER TIP: Stacked cups make a great visual for teaching number sense & place value!
