ESD/Lefton/Enterprise Exclusive Miss Priss Puppy Pal Cookie Jar Contrary to what many people believe, ESD (Enterprise Sales and Distributors) is not "Canadian Lefton". ESD was a company in Canada whose owner, Harry Pearl, travelled to Japan with George Lefton. While in Japan, both men purchased a lot of the same items for their companies; one exclusively in Canada and the other exclusively in the US. This is why both the Lefton and ESD labels are found on some identical pieces.
ESD/PY Girl Cookie Jar This is a lovely cookie jar that was made in the PY/Miyao factory and distributed by ESD. Many Lefton collectors think ESD was simply "Canadian Lefton", but ESD was a separate company in Canada that purchased many of the same "made in Japan" items as Lefton during the same time period. She resembles the Dainty Miss line, also made by PY and distributed by Lefton, but is much more scarce, and I don't know of any companion pieces that go with her.
