How To Clean Dry Paint Brushes With Vinegar
1. Scrape up the liquid (I had already done this weeks ago). 2. Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch on stain to let absorb for 10 minutes and then vacuum. 3. Mix one tablespoon clear dishwashing liquid and one tablespoon white vinegar with two cups of warm water. 4. Using a white cloth (I strongly believe in microfiber washcloths), sponge the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution and blot until all the liquid is absorbed. 5. Sponge off with cold water and blot dry.
Once a month, add a cup of Distilled White Vinegar and a cup of baking soda during the HOT cleaning cycle. pour them directly into the drum. Then, add about ½ cup of vinegar and ½ cup of baking soda into the detergent dispenser.
BEST soap scum remover!! This REALLY works well. After trying a few other Pinterest suggestions, I made this. It's odd, but it's GREAT. Make a vinegar "gel" by thickening vinegar with cornstarch. The vinegar CLINGS to what ever you spray it on...thus gives it more time to work. A little detergent cuts grease. I heated 1 cup of vinegar and 1 T corn starch in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add 2 T dish detergent and put it in a spay bottle. Spray. Wait 1hr. Wipe. Rinse.
Dish soap (I use Dawn because it rocks!), vinegar and a mason jar. Fill the jar about 1/4 full with the vinegar and then add 2-3 drops of the dish soap. Leave this sitting on the kitchen counter overnight and when you wake up in the morning you will see it chock full of those pesky little buggers.
