Adorable, fun and healthy snack. All you need is whole wheat crackers, hummus and veggies (black olives, cole-slaw shredded lettuce, carrots, peppers, etc). Spread a small amount of hummus over the whole wheat crackers and slice up your veggies in fun shapes. Add them creatively to the crackers to create fun faces. Kids love 'em, and so do adults. Have fun!
Chees--- The protein in this kid-friendly snack keeps energy levels high until dinnertime. We like to stick salt-free pretzel sticks into cubes of low-fat cheese to make "satellite snacks," but you can also make cheese more interesting to kids by cutting it into fun shapes with a cookie cutter and making kabobs with your favorite fruit.
