Joanna Grant Mixed Media Art: Finished Art From Gelli Plate Printed Papers "Soar" art journal page with gelli-plate printed papers

I have taken the 8.5" X 11" gelli-printed typing paper and glued them into my Strathmore Mixed Media journal (5.5" X 8") so that they can be the bases for future journal pages.  The scraps trimmed away from the journal page have been kept to be used as well.

Beautiful mixed media books and journals .

First I took one of my gelli printed papers and glued it onto a page in my art journal, using a gluestick. I just ripped the excess paper from the edges and left it rough looking and unfinished (although that doesn't show in the photo below).
